Carlisle Healthcare South Hub is a state-of-the-art medical centre with sustainability and longevity at the forefront of the project. It is our target to achieve BREEAM Outstanding status and Operational Carbon Net Zero.
The solar panel scheme is designed to power the entire building on renewable energy and the development includes a host of innovative technologies to reduce energy consumption and environmental impact. The development includes a bespoke internal design in waiting areas creating a relaxed and non-clinical environment for patients.

Community
Through local community involvement it is our aim that the building becomes part of the community, a building for Carlisle residents to be proud of. To facilitate this, UHD has worked closely with a number of local community groups throughout Carlisle on landscaping projects to give a sense of ownership to the individuals who will be utilising the building.
